An esteemed International Insurance Company is actively seeking a dynamic Claim Manager to become an integral part of their expanding Claims department. You Will:

  • Develop and uphold a thorough comprehension of the claims procedure, encompassing reserve management and claim progression.
  • Assess appropriate coverage, reserves, and resolutions within defined authority, while adeptly liaising with management regarding intricate claims.
  • Supervise and manage claim expenses, assess claims processing for validity and liability, and promptly propose equitable settlements.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with clients, third-party insurance intermediaries, brokers, and stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service and contentment throughout the claims process.
  • Instil a culture of excellence in claims service, decision-making, precision, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the formulation of optimal practices and directives.
  • Analyse patterns in claims and propose enhancement measures. • Prepare claim file notes, notifications for significant losses, discharge forms, and subrogation forms. • Draft declination letters for claims falling outside coverage in collaboration with claims management.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of diverse insurance coverage categories and conduct training sessions for new staff on insurance fundamentals, office protocols, and claims procedures.
  • Evaluate and propose insurance strategies, risk reduction measures, and necessary adjustments, overseeing their implementation.
  • Spearhead initiatives to standardize insurance processes and protocols for claims. pertaining to registered claims.
  • Manage resolution of escalated issues and communicate with executive leadership as required.
  • Fulfil additional responsibilities as delegated by the European Claims Manager.

Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Claims Management role, non-motor claims
  • Possession of an insurance qualification recognized by the CII or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Preferably holds an insurance-related qualification

Salary / Remuneration: DOE + Transport Allowance, Canteen Allowance, Performance related bonus, Health and Life Insurance, Gym Allowance
