This Data Protection Officer opportunity is an excellent role for an aspiring DPO who would be looking to step into their first DPO position. Due to internal promotions, this is a newly created opportunity for an aspiring data protection professional with unhindered career development potential.
In this role, you will hold an autonomous position reporting directly to the Board of Directors meaning you will be part of an organisation investing and focusing on good governance and providing you lots of impact. Additionally, you will be part of a team of DPOs covering various business areas locally and internationally which is a very unique situation where you will not be left completely independent and alone.

You will:
- Advise board of directors and senior management on data protection;
- Be the point of contact with authorities and data subjects;
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed across the organisation;
- Conduct periodic GDPR audits to ensure compliance with regulations
Experience:
- Qualified lawyer in Europe (Other qualifications will be considered)
- 2+ years’ experience in data protection advisory
- Experience in a multinational organization will be given preference
Salary / Remuneration: EUR 50,000 – 55,000 DOE
