This Intellectual Property (IP) lawyer will join a highly regarded technology team as they are expanding due to growth. This newly created position will allow an experienced technology lawyer career development opportunities in the area of IP law as well as other technology areas such as privacy, and iGaming.
In this role, you will closely collaborate with a highly experienced team, offering you both mentorship to develop your expertise, as well as independence and autonomy to offer you professional freedom. Your responsibilities will be dynamic and varied offering you broad exposure within the technology realm and offering you the chance to really establish yourself as a niche expert.
If you are eager to develop as an IP lawyer, as well as building a strong skillset in the technology realm, this is an opportunity that will allow you the chance to become a very niche and technical expert which will set you apart from most other lawyers and scale your career.
You will:
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements with an emphasis on technology, such as SaaS and software licensing;
- Offer legal advice on intellectual property law, focusing on trademarks, as well as privacy and other technology areas;
- Handle disputes and litigation related to IP, as well as other technology disputes;
- Be a subject matter expert on technology law topics, collaborating with stakeholders in other areas while safeguarding businesses.
Experience:
- Warranted lawyer in Malta
- 2+ years PQE, experience in IP or privacy/data protection is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese
Salary / Remuneration: EUR 35,000 – 45,000 DOE
