This Legal & Compliance Manager will join a rapidly growing advisory firm with a strong track record and lots of work coming in, and is therefore creating a brand-new position for a Legal & Compliance Manager to manage these functions, offering the opportunity to play a key part in the continued growth of the company.
As the Legal & Compliance Manager, you will report to the board of directors and manage the entire legal & compliance services line, allowing you to step into a leadership position and manage the current compliance team. Also, by not having any lawyer above you in the team it provides you with lots of room to grow as this is still a young, but high-performing firm.
If you are interested in moving up the career ladder in a supportive environment that will provide you with independence and ownership, as well as having the opportunity to continue developing your technical skills, this is a firm that will allow you to grow with them.
You will:
- Manage the compliance team;
- Draft and review agreements;
- Prepare reports for the board of directors;
- Manage legal services and operational legal topics.
Experience:
- Warranted lawyer in Malta
- 4+ years PQE, experience from an advisory firm is a must
- Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese
Salary / Remuneration: EUR 50,000 – 55,000 DOE
