This B2C gaming company specialises in online gaming and sports betting platforms. This company is known for holding various online gambling licenses and is often associated with the operation of online casinos, sportsbooks, and other gaming platforms.
As the MLRO, you will work closely with a team of four: the Head of Compliance, a Senior Compliance Officer, and a Compliance Specialist, all focused on managing compliance within a specific market. Together, you will ensure that AML policies are effectively implemented and maintained.
You will:
- Compliance Leadership: Oversee AML/CFT initiatives and collaborate with teams like Payments & Fraud, Legal & Compliance, and Customer Service to implement robust controls.
- Reporting & Advisory: Provide regular reports and expert AML/CFT advice to senior management, including risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Review internal reports of unusual activities, file STRs/SARs with relevant authorities, and act as the primary AML/CFT contact.
- Policy Development: Lead the design and maintenance of AML/CFT policies, risk assessments, and procedures.
- Audit & Training: Prepare for audits, report findings, and create AML training materials in collaboration with Legal & Compliance and HR teams.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all legal obligations as an MLRO and support regulatory reviews.
Skills/ Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years as an MLRO in iGaming or similar leadership role.
- Strong grasp of AML standards and EU Directives; Dutch regulations a plus.
