In your role as Compliance Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and the Head of Risk.
You will:
- Assist in developing and maintaining suitable Board risk appetite statements, incorporating key metrics aligned with the company’s risk profile.
- Establish and oversee the monitoring of risk appetite breaches, ensuring appropriate actions are taken in response to breaches of agreed alert limits or thresholds.
- Provide relevant compliance training to the business and compliance colleagues to enhance the understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Keep abreast of all regulatory developments from relevant regulators, assessing the impact of change, making necessary updates to procedures, and reporting these to stakeholders as appropriate.
Skills/ Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in MFSA insurance rules and regulations.
- Knowledgable about MFSA insurance rules and compliance reporting requirements.
- Capable of managing conflicting priorities and multiple projects.
