This Legal Counsel will join a well-established and reputable organisation forming part of the crucial legal department within the company structure. Due to demands within the group, the company is offering an influential advisory role having an important role supporting senior management.
In this role you will form part of a legal department reporting directly to the CLO and collaborating with another lawyer who combined has over 20 years of experience. Covering a broad role with responsibilities across many legal areas, you will have excellent support and guidance which in turn will drive your career forward.
If you have strong corporate & commercial background and seeking a career change to take on an in-house role with a strong focus on legal advisory work, this is an opportunity to take on a multi-faceted role with lots of room to further develop your career in a stable environment.
You will:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to management on various aspects across the business;
- Draft and review legal agreements and contracts as well as legal opinions;
- Ensure the company minimizes its risk exposure in line with relevant laws and regulations;
- Be exposed to a wide range of legal areas including corporate, commercial, capital markets, and other internal legal affairs.
Experience:
- Qualified/Warranted lawyer in Malta
- 3+ years PQE with a focus on corporate & commercial law
- Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese
Salary / Remuneration: EUR 40,000 – 50,000 DOE
