You Will:

  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the operations team, ensuring smooth functioning.
  • Manage ad hoc requests and duties from various clients, addressing operations queries promptly.
  • Supervise client transaction execution, including trade settlements, account openings, and maintenance. Participate in the hiring process to onboard qualified personnel for the operations team.
  • Establish and enforce operational policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  • Review and approve external payments, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary expert on operational matters, addressing client queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely completion of all operational tasks and maintain records of overdue tasks and operational risk events.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial operations.
  • Review and submit regulatory reports generated by the operations team.
  • Act as a backup for other members of the operations team when needed.

Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or equivalent experience.
  •  3-5 years of experience in custody operations or similar role in a financial institution.
  •  Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a team.

Salary / Remuneration: 40,000 – 45,000, DOE, annual performance bonus, health insurance.
